Throw Back!
Today I'm taking you back to my first Christmas song + video that started it all.
I made this "Happy Xmas" music video on a last minute whim and, although it is very cringy & my hair is VERY yellow, I look back on it and smile because I really put my whole heart into the project.
I was lucky enough to have some amazing friends & band members who jumped on board last minute. We had a blast and met some hilarious people.
I had no idea what I was doing and at the time this music video was absolutely the best quality and production I could have accomplished. After we shot it, I download the "final cut pro" free trial and took a complimentary lesson on video editing at the apple store... truly the gateway drug for everything I've done since with my music....and I wouldn't change it for the world.
My biggest takeaway: you don't have to know what you're doing so long as you have fun doing it.
